So I've searched here and google and everything I come up with is old (mostly for deals, nothing an actual use) and for 5.56 mags and not the 6.8 SPC ones. I was thinking of building a 6.8 SPC M4 but mags are not as plentiful and the only mags I can find for decent are the ASC 25 round mags for about $18 average (I don't see the point in spending $40+ per mag).

So does anyone have experience with them and how they hold up under actual use? They look good on the "reviews" of the 5.56.

Yea, that was actually part of my search I did. Are they like here were if you're not a member/full member you don't get full search results? Because anything I saw on mags were either crappy (old c-products) or expensive (like the barret mag). I'll look more into those PRI mags when I get back on monday, get to go jump out of planes this weekend.

I have ASC, PRI, & Barrett ... forget the ASC; which have a 'painted' finish that peels.

Barrett's are smooth, but worthless if you hand load, or shoot any spec II ammo loaded longer than 2.6 inches.

I sold my Barrett's after the first two months since I started hand loading exclusively for the caliber not long after I got it.

Ain't that the truth.  Nothing over about 110 grains.

I load my 90s to 2.295, so I just stick with the PRI. Everything from 90gr up is 2.295 for me.
