Pmags are great mags but have plastic feedlips. US GI aluminum mags with anti tilt followers will hold up better in the long run.

This is a hard question. Aluminum mags will never age in storage. Plastic will, but who really knows how long it will take for that to be a problem. Aluminum mags are not as tough as P-Mags.  So they are less likely to survive abuse. I think you best bet is get a mix.
