It will work and better than the soft flimsy factory follower

Just don't loose the original 40rd Sterling follower unless you want to loose money if you ever resell the magazine. I'v never had a problem with the Sterling 40rd magazines functioning, the Sterling steel 20/30/40 mags are all military grade.

Haven't tried it, because I've never had trouble with my Sterlings, even with FA.
