Look on the EE. Vendors are already selling them for the new price. $15 is a bit high compared to other's newly adjusted pricing.

$10-$11 non windowed.
$12-$13 windowed.

love the pmags. I had only 1 failure with them and it was an over insertion of the mag in the lower. M3 mags fix that issue so it's great.
I bought 10 gen 2 for 9.99ea yesterday. dealers offloading the older gens

With all those improvements, I may have to spring for a few of the M3s.

Interestingly, I like the feel of my Gen I Pmags better than my Gen IIs.

Thank you, Magpul, for, in another thread "hinting", that mag springs >might< be aged by constant full  pressure.

Will there be replacement springs from SS be avalable for PMags in 5.56 and 7.62??

So the new Pmags will be released on November 1st, black only.  When can we expect to see them in other colors, such as OD?  Thanks.

So, standard non window pmags can be found for around 10.50 or less at the moment.  Is it reasonable to expect them to drop in price more after Nov 1st. Or does everyone think they have hit a bottom?

safe to say hit bottom since the M3 is not a replacement for gen 2 but an alternative with SCAR and HK compatibility

so can we turn in our old PMAGS for new exchange?

Come on gray PMags! Twelve of each, please. If only they were Panzer Gray, sigh.

Sadly us FL residents can't enter because of stupid sweepstakes laws. But they say they're working on something alternatively for ban states and FL residents. Kudos to them!

Using my rule of '5', I'm gonna have to get 5 windowed and 5 non-windowed gen 3's to go with my collection.

Anyone care to summarize the difference between gen 2 and 3?

-The M3 design is stronger in all tests over the current PMag (feedlip impact, spine strength, side impact, cold/hot weather. etc.).
-The M3 has geometry changes to increase reliability in extreme and adverse conditions.
-The M3 has new low drag follower design for increased reliability in dust environments.
-The M3 is now drop free compatible with magazine wells on the tight end of the tolerance.
-The M3 is now fully compatible with HK416, SA80A2 (Magwell length) and FNSCAR (Bolt Catch) weapon systems.
-New over travel stop allows the M3 mag to be used in mixed HK416/M4 environments without potential over travel in the M4 weapon. (previous PMag has the over travel stop in the front of the mag which cannot be used due to the longer HK416 magwell).
-The M3 magazine catch area is reinforced.
-The M3 magazine has a new slimmer floorplate to aid in pouch compatibility.
-The M3 has slightly increased rib height for better handling under stress.
-The M3 has grip ribs on front and rear spines for increased positive handling under stress.
-The M3 has a recessed paint pen matrix for individual marking of magazines that is consistent and will not become illegible due to use and cleaning.
-The M3 Maglevel features new window material which is more chemical resistant and has a new non glare finish.

Can you say what was done to improve this?  New polymer formulation?  Different fiberglass aggregate?  Different dimensions?

I believe the material is actually thinner but it has been re-somethinged to be stronger. "Developed a new polymer" is what I have read.

The gen 2 have worked so well for so many people for so long,  I'm probably not gonna budge, and more than likely just keep stockpiling and using these for a looooong time. Depends on the new price too I guess.

I guess we'll have to see what the Gen 2's drop to after November 1st... hopefully they drop a even lower than they already are, might have to start stocking up at then!

Is anyone still pre-selling these?  I need two ASAP.

The Gen 2's are not going away, they are just losing the Impact/Dust Cover and being re-branded as a MOE product.  Price is set at $12.95 MSRP for the standard mag and $15.95 MSRP for the Window variant.

Well on that note, guess ill just continue to add to my collection with the Gen 3's
