I believe those are the old C-Products company or some how related to C-Prod.
Your better off with the D&H mags, IMHO. Ive seen them for as low as $9 for the 30's. |

I'd stick with D&H or PMags.

Brownells are made by Brownells. If you search around their website you can find a video that explains it.

If you are looking for aluminum mags it is unlikely you will see ASC for less than D&H from DSG. If you want stainless mags than it probably pays to look at ASC or C Products Defense. How is the quality from those companies? Who knows? Both are new companies in one form or another and one mag might work and the next might not. That is why we have to test and get experience. In another thread I have mentioned that I bought three C Products Defense, 30 round stainless mags and so far with limited testing to one of them I have had good results. But quality control and experience is everything when buying mags so mags from new companies have to sell cheap enough to compensate for the extra risk.

If they were free I would still rather pay $10 for a good mag. I've bought my share of junk mags they just take up space.

Bought 2 today, it seems that an even number of rounds seats the even round top left? Is this a 6.8 trait? Would these by chance be 6.8 mags? Kind of makes me feel weird doing press checks and feels unnatural to me. Anyone else see this or care to set the record straight?
Thanks felix |

Brownells magazines are produced by Brownells, right here in Iowa.
Here is a video with some shots of the manufacturing process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvgZgDZMhB8&feature=plcp Originally Posted By JoeyIsaacs:

I have six ASC 5.45 mags, bought at fleet farm, not a problem yet.
My 5.45 mags from CDNN had many issues...they were the old cproducts mags. |

Thank you for clarifying that info for me.
Wasnt meaning to downgrade your product by any means. I actually prefer the D&H's over the other massive manufacturers of the magazines. Looks like I'll be placing an order for some Brownells in the near future. I'll be watching my newsletters! I have about 20 of the 5.45 flavor and so far, they have all been flawless, including a Kyle Defoor class. I also used to have 18 C-Products 5.45 mags, before my truck was stolen, and they all worked fine as well. Maybe I used up all of my good luck on 5.45 mags
