Accurate enough... but one of the slowest 77gr SMK loads out there...

I'm not a particularly good shooter. I can shoot consistent 2" groups with a 16" DD S2W and Vortex 2.5-10 off a bipod at 100 yards

I bought a box to test out of my JP 20", and it shot very well. I'm concerned about the slow velocity and performance at distance so I don't think I'll be picking this as my preferred round.
Groups were .84 moa, .57 moa, .83 moa, .47 moa. The 2 larger groups had fliers that I'll take blame for....groups were .45 and .54 minus fliers. Will be testing some .223 and 5.56 Hornady Superformance Match next. I really wanted it to like the Hornady 73gr ELD but is shoots poorly....>1 moa |

Give Defender Ammunition a try, their 77gr SMK is sub-moa out of my 18" SPR. Averages 2730FPS, and the price is right at 64 cents per (61 by the case) with $10 flat rate shipping.

Through my two Faxon barreled rifles and my PSA CHF A4 this stuff will shoot 2.5" groups pretty consistently. I bought a bunch of it when Primary Arms had it on sale for $9.99/box. My guns don't like it enough that I would pay more than that for it.

PMC 77 shoots accurately but is way too slow for me. 2480 out of my 18" krieger barrel that usually shoots on the fast side.
