Impressive against jugs of water, accuracy not bad either, actually better than Wolf Gold out of my rifle. The reason I posted is to ask if anyone has tested
this ammunition so far as gel tests, accuracy, and velocity. I do not have the means to do this, that and the fact that I am old, fat and lazy.
Oh yes, I have searched with no results. (I am not THAT lazy)

Unfortunately, that's one I didn't get for my big ammo test (the 41 loads test). Maybe next round if I do one.

Did it fragment in water?

Fragment, not in two gallons of water! It blew them up impressively though. The bullets have an air gap in the nose and are longer than any other I have measured.
Dangit, now I have to pull another and measure it It does look as if CBC used a M855 case with less lead to make a 5.45x39 clone of sorts.

PS Thanks for that test!

OK .777 bullet length. 55 grain, Honest. Pointy like M855, 26.5 grains ball powder, boxer primed. Shot out of a 16" 1 in 7 twist barrel, under two inch average. Honest.
Whew! The reaction of two one gallon milk jugs was just as impressive as a 64 grain Gold Dot did out of the same barrel. I am loading up my Magpul's.-----
With Gold Dot's of course. Can't pop a Magpul top and be uber cool without nickel cases. Honest.

In bold, I am not following what you're trying to say.

Are you saying that there's a difference between an M193 and M855 casing and the design is close to being a 7N6 but in .224?

He's saying it appears as if they used a M855 copper jacket and filled it with enough lead to make M193 weight.

That falls in with m193 specs

Well, nothing special then.
Thanks folks.

You're helping to confirm that there is another 1st rate M193 load available.
