I have experience with IMI ammo in the 5.56 format but how about 9mm? It's the plaine Jane 115 grain FMJ load with the gray box with the IMI logo in front.

How does it compare to other brands, like Federal in the same configuration? I hear IMI has a  reputation for being a little hotter than average.

Never shot it in 9. If good price I would buy a few boxes and see how it works for range scrap.

Got a case for 20 CPR, seems to be below the going price. A sale price if you will.

My experience was shitty...just go with speer lawman fmj...
Imi 9mm had hard primer strikes every other round....they may have reformulated it...but since its roughly same.price as speer fmj i don't see the point

Not shooting these in a Glock, that may suffer from light primer strikes.

MechTech Glock upper, an entirely different beast. I don't think it cares about hard primers.

Ran great for me . It is a little on the hot side .

Running it in a MechTech upper that likes loads that are a little hot.

Test drove it today, almost as accurate as premium brands.

Runs great in my Hi Power, as does their 124 gr.

Is $200/case of 1000 a decent price for it?  i.e. 20 CPR.

Using gunbot, it seems to sell for higher than that.

All of their samplings are on the upper end velocity wise :). Even their subsconic 158gr is warm

I have an opportunity to get more, a 1000-round case for $200, go or not? Local, without shipping.

The accuracy has been really good, almost as good as match ammo.

Runs great through my CZ P-01, as well as their 124gr. Very accurate & consistent ammo from my experience.

I bought several cases a few years ago, it was $180/case IIRC, but got a lot higher once Widener's changed hands.

It's been nothing but good for me, warm, reliable, clean, and accurate.  I'd buy it for $200 if I were buying 9mm.
