did you check FP protrusion in both.

I have not had a problem w/ my imi in my guns. I have seen bolt guns not fire mil ammo, and only m4s with problems.

Its a shame you did not try it in more that 1 m4

I bought a case of IMI M193 from Wideners a month or so ago.  2015 manufacture.
I finally got to shoot some at the range the other day out of my 10.5" 5.56 pistol.
Out of a box of 30 I did have one round that did not fire after a primer strike.
I also observed it seemed "smokier" than when I shoot Wolf Gold .223.
Not sure if that is normal or not?

I don't know about the M193, but I have shot the M855 and the Razor Core Mk262 clone (2013 manf.) and all have been 100% in numerous guns. I'm shooting IMI 9mm, 115 and 124 FMJ also with zero problems.

Dang I just noticed this thread after I bought a case of this ammo.

I've been using IMI for a long time and never had any trouble, but a bad lot can happen anytime.

OP should contact IMI and see what they say.

Fast way to narrow things down without access to a lab, is to try the ammo in more than one rig.

Real lab tests for this are few and far in between. Using regular guns isn't as definitive, but can still tell you if the ammo is suspect and may even end the debate in a bad case.

Can we see lot numbers for the suspect ammunition?  I have a case of imi 193 on the way from wideners, so am very interested.   Does anybody else have experience with imi 193 recently obtained from wideners?  Thanks.
