Will the 50 grain AE ballistic tip round stabilize in 1 and 7 inch twist rifles at 200 yards (coyote hunting distance)?

Thanks much

1:12” is enough to stabilize it.
You may want to try it out at the range first.

Yes, it will work just fine. I've shot some through my 18" 1:6 twist barrel without issue along with a couple 1:8's. the big question is whether the round will fragment before reaching the target. IME it's not an issue.

I've been told the projectile is a Hornady 50gr VMax with a different colored tip. I haven't pulled one down yet to confirm, but I've pushed the 50gr Vmax (Zmax) at 3400fps from my 1:6 twist without loosing any.

I've shot it from a 1/8 and a 1/7 SBR, both shot great and only a hair wider than Hornady Match 75 or BH 75. As I understand it these projectiles are (as said above) 50gr VMAX, and are usually lasers out of any quality barrel regardless of length/twist.

The 50gr Tipped varmint has shown outstanding accuracy in every rifle I have tried it in.

About 15 different AR's to date .... from 1n7 - 1n9.... various Brand rifles, and various chambers and types of rifling and barrels.

My rifles shoot slightly more than about 1 MOA with it.

Do be advised that it will drift "easier" then a higher BC bullet.

So shoot some for accuracy at the distance you are interested in.

Also the claimed velocity was not accurate in my 20" and 16" barrels.

Fed., AE 50gr Tipped Varmint...FC 223 REM.........16" Middie , Av. 2943 , ES 48..........20" rifle , Av. 2982 , ES 34................Outstanding accuracy in all my AR's

All of my ARs like it. My SBR, 10.5" 1:7 twist, gets very good groups with it.

I haven't shot the AE in question but Fiocchi 40 and 50 gr. V-Max are very good performers for me in my 1/9" 16" and 1/7" 20".
