Don't get me wrong, I appreciate any new test that you do and any new info is good info.  However, this test just doesn't interest me.  Unless your LEO, and even then, you're unlikely to ever be shooting someone through a windshield, esp post SHTF.  I'm much more interested in seeing how well fusion penetrates through wood and especially steel as I don't think it would show strong performance there.

Thanks for the test bud.
have you done or considering doing any mk262 penetration tests?

Maybe. It's already pretty well documented in professional tests and I mostly stick to loads that don't have a lot of data already available.

Thanks!  Ive always wanted to do that with some of my ammo.  Thats good velocity for the 762x39.  MSR likes warmer weather too.

One thing I would try next time is to try and set your gel blocks and or water jugs the same distance away from windshield as it would be in a car.  the bullets begin to "tumble" right away after going through plywood, glass, steel whatever.  Some bullets hold up  better than others that way.  Also, be careful to angle the glass at the same angle for each bullet you test.  This is esp important on steel as the steeper the angle the more metal it has to go through.

I keep a 16 inch carbine stocked with MSR and was sure glad to see your video.

Thanks again!

King_Mud, sorry. That was weird. Should work now.

QCB, yeah, Dr. Roberts advised that I set the blocks approximately 18" from the glass. I'll do that in my next test.

Good work!

I'm starting to stock a lot of Fusion now. It's pretty easy to pick up 3 boxes for <$60 every time you are at Walmart.

There were a crap ton of fusion pulled bullets released last year and I bought several packs of 500 for 223 and 6.8. For 6.8, they were as cheap as the fmj pulls.

Lots of big box stores carry them. I see them at Sportsman's Warehouse. Walmart might carry them but I haven't checked Walmart for ammo in years.
