Just last Sat I picked up a 500 rd spam can at Walmart for $0.23 per round, but it was steel case. Guy at the counter said he'd had it for a while.

Gunbroker has some OK deals (32-33cpr shipped) for brass cased stuff if you look around.

Midway USA has some in stock, but it's $0.55 a round, don't know if that's too much for you but considering you can't find it hardly anywhere nowadays. Beggars can't be choosers
