Any special roll-back markings/price tags on this stuff, or is it another case of not being labeled it was rolled back like we found the Perfecta to be in some places a few months ago?

Useafortyfive - This was in the great state of Alabama my friend!

jaqufrost - Thank you, sir!

md7989 - The cashier stated that she had her managers permission to mark the price down. There were a variety of loads in the display case that were marked down but neither of them were of interest to me. I just so happened to be there at the right place, at the right time, and looking for the right stuff. Luck of the draw my friend!

Get it while you can. I've been running this stuff consistently since my original post and not a single FTF or FTE (Tavor and AR15).

Yes, SS109 has been terrific. Given this I recommend ZQI for everything.

which heavier grained stuff?

ZQI only markets 3 ammo types:
62gr 5.56 - which is either all gone from Walmart, or getting pretty darn close.

147gr 7.62 - which I still see limited quantities at my local Walmarts

123gr 9mm - which is getting hard to find at my local Walmarts.

Also the walmart at work had ZQI 5.56 but now it's gone.

They have a 3 box per customer limit as well.

I have not seen any 5.56 ZQI or 9mm here in Ohio but seem like there is quite a bit of 7.62 x 51 here,so far. I am buying it every chance I get to feed my Spikes Tactical ST-10 . Still 9.97 per box here but that's ok with me. This stuff shots great for me and reloadable brass too. I am putting it away for when you never know when you are going to need it.

Seriously?

I have not seen a 3 box limit (except for .22) at any Texas Walmarts in months.
and that includes stores in DFW, Houston and San Antonio.

I think he's talking about the 75/77 grain 5.56.

It depends which Walmart you're talking about.  One in San Antonio (410 and Military) had 3 box limits on .22, while another (Culebra Rd.) had a flat "3 box limit on ammunition purchases" sign - and they actually meant it.  A third (Leslie Rd.) didn't have any .22, but also didn't have any signs about limits, either.  These stores are within a couple of miles of each other, which sort of tells me that there's no really corporate directive about ammunition sales limits.

none of the walmarts that i have been to in the past 6 months have a 3 box limit, i think a few may still have it on 22lr but seeing that they never have any of it available it really doesn't matter

Yup, hit or miss at the Walmarts in San Antonio.  Some only limit .22 and some have a 3 box limit on everything.  Walmart at 1604 & 281 had quite a bit of the 100 round box,  hollow point Winchester .22 in stock about an hour ago.  It's $10 per 100, not a great deal but it's there.

Shiff" is correct. I called Zenith Firearms (ZQ1 importers) and confirmed that they intend to import both m193 55 gr. 5.56 and 77gr. 5.56 within the next few months. Prices not in stone, but will be in the mean average range of prices charged by other manufactures of similar type ammo. They were extremely friendly over the phone. They will be selling ammo directly over the internet (company called guardian) and walmart ( if walmart renews contract).

I don't think ZQI has brought any of that to the US - yet.

Must have been in Auburn.  Just looked up on Wal Mart's web page and it lists Auburn as being $7 but showing OOS.

Bump for an old thread update.

Everyone who was buying the 7.62... how have you liked it?

I stopped in a wally world today and grabbed the 26 boxes they had on the shelf.
Trying to decide if I should check the other local store.
