Not sure there a commercial name. There were some available several years ago but seems hard to find now.
The SSA you linked to is good ammo. The IMI is gtg as well. Not as accurate however. Black Hills is the top dog. |

I just purchased a couple hundred rounds each of the IMI Razor Core 77gr. OTM (16.00/20) and M193 (11.50/30). Thought that was a fairly decent price for what's considered good quality ammo. I usually buy PMC m193 when its on sale. |

Been a while since I played with my Mk12 clone but both rounds were just under an inch if I remember right. Using a bipod and my shoulder/left hand for rear support. |

Mk 262 is extremely hot, and while I choose to run it when deployed abroad, I also carry mags with green tip or something else if available because of the possibility of primer blow-outs. Last year, while prepping for a summer deployment, I started looking at the brass from our M4s after noticing the rounds were smoker than I remember. Almost all of the brass had flattened primers and ejector swipes.This was during weather in the 80's, and I worried that if it was much hotter, we might start seeing worse.
For my personal guns, I just bought some Fiocchi 77gr SMKs which is definitely loaded not as hot, but it is accurate, and available. It can be had for about $15-$18 a box. |

Mk262 Mod1 exists because of temperature spikes from shooting being enough to cause primer blowouts. Supposedly the new powder is much better about this.

IMI has its own version of MK262, I would get that before I paid over a buck for Black Hills.
