Have a chance to buy some ppu m193 or wolf gold 223 55g from a friend which one is better than the other. Price difference he wants for ppu is .04 cents more per round than the wolf gold.

I've shot about 350 rounds of the PPU without any issue. I can't speak on the Wolf stuff.

only .04 cents a round more? Well if the difference is only one penny for every 25 rounds get the PPU!

Check a box of the wolf, if you can.

The 75gr wolf gold is PPU, and I think for some time, 55gr Wolf was PPU too.  Depending on the age of the wolf it might be the exact same ammo in different boxes.

PPU is good stuff.

The PPU is way to cheap or the Wolf is way to expensive.  Recommend learning the use of the period and the dollar sign.  What you intended to write is not what you wrote.

He wants $360.00 for 1000 rounds of wolf gold and $400.00 for 1000 rounds of ppu m193

The price for Wolf Gold is very fair considering the current going rate. The Prvi is also a deal.

If I were you, I'd try to get both.

If you forced me to decide on one, I'd get the Wolf Gold and more of it or extra mags with the savings. Right now Wolf Gold .223 is a very nice Taiwanese mil-spec M193 clone.

Wolf switched this year from PPU to the Taiwanese Ministry of Defense for their .223 55 grain Wolf Gold. PPU is selling too much ammo in its own brand nowadays for the Wolf Gold rebranding to work out. You're seeing the same thing with Federal Independence fading into the past while IMI and IMI Samson ammo starts getting more and more visible and marketed.

I would shot either and not think twice but for the price, I would go Wolf Gold unless I could find WPA steel case for significantly cheaper.

Wolf 55 gr gold

Gold$349.50/1000 site sponser

WPA$289 / 1000 steel case site sponser

PPu 400.00/1000

Or for a few pennies more / round get some of the best

IMI m193 imi 508/1200

Wolf Gold is from TAA in Taiwan. Despite how it sounds it's really good and the military uses it when Lake City can't keep up.

The Gold seems very nice - non-corrosive, re-loadable brass case, boxer primed, sealed, no steel (lead core with copper jacket), and good groups.  I have fired several hundred out of my Colt without a hiccup...so I bought 2 cases.

All brass cased is annealed, some are just polished afterwards.
