Cabelas has plenty of ammo, has eliminated limits, and prices are often better than the tags on the empty shelves at WalMart and Meijers.  Last week I picked up 6 boxes (20) of PMC .223 for 6.99 each.  Shoulda bought more but wife was with me :-/
Not sure what this means.  Why isn't WalMart getting stock?

Any 7.62x39? Walmart in NJ doesnt sell guns and ammo. When I go to NY to hunt I can stop along the way. Does WM sell any 7.62x39 ammo?

Yes.  I usually see the Tula steel cased in the walmarts around here and I sometimes see the significantly more expensive Winchester brass.

My Walmart if fully stocked and prices are dropping constantly. Limited 22lr and 380 but other than that it's all there. You still have to wait 20 minutes for the lazy manager to wander over to buy anything, but at least it's available.

Looks like the Winchester 555 22LR bulk packs is getting another price bump to $27.88, from $24.67.  Only 3 stores out of 9 in my area has the lower price.  2 got them in their shipment today.
Full barcode is 020892102477.

My local had a case of Winchester 222 packs yesterday and Remington 225 packs of Goldens this morning. All gobbled up by night stockers and flipped on a local Facebook group...

Grovetown, GA has so many of the Federal .223 100 round packs for $34.97 that they have a sign on the case advertising it.

Local WM here has been getting in .22 sporadically, but Saturday they got a good bit, just the Winchester 333 packs, and pricier at like 18 bucks OTD with tax, but still MUCH cheaper than the online whack, and most importantly, we are waaaaaay out here on the edge, just barely have a wally world and it's a smaller one. So if we are getting it steady now, i'm guessing we are about to be out of the woods with regard to .22. It's certainly worth waiting on, prices will drop as availability gets better.

Walmart in Spencer, IA has everything in stock and prices are reasonable.  They do have a three box limit on .22lr, I picked up two boxes of 222 Winchester ($11.50 each!) and one box of Rem Golden 225 pack ($12.00!).  Independence XM193I is down to $8.50 a box and a big stack of it in stock as well.  For some reason this Walmart has a big surplus of ammo and others in the area do not.  Plenty in stock, come visit...Iowa...yay

A nice little score. I should have bought all they had, but I had just spend some cash at a gun show and a big holiday dinner.

Here in northern Nevada it was steady trickle in for a while. Now the last 2 months it seems to have dried up. Have not seen any in Carson City, Fernley and Fallon for a long time. The app shows inventory in Fernley but it's not there and the butt head managers will not correct it. I have even emailed corporate and no good.

My wife is at Walmart and just texted me this pic.

Looks like they have plenty of ammo but I've got enough that I'm not buying at those prices.

Columbus Indiana just got the new 120 grain OTFB 300 Blackout ammo in.

This is Remington ammo - wait for it - made by Barnes, with Barnes bullets and Barnes headstamped brass in a green Remington box.

Remten discontinued the 115 grain because of a fragile point and this is kind of the replacement except it costs more.  The 115 was $11 a box and this 120 is $16.44.

I bought some AE556 at Cabelas in Lubbock Saturday @6.99, got home and opened a box for a look see, nasty looking shit, dull brass, spotted. I am not impressed with it, I am sure it will shoot just fine.

Isn't that look just part of the annealing process and considered perfectly normal?
