Magtech .308 runs pretty good through my POF. I have shot about 150 rounds through is and seems good so far, enough to order 1000 more rounds of it. One thing
I found a little strange was that is shot consistently low and right compared to federal premium 168 smk. These were shot back to back. Good for the money IMHO. |

From the three boxes I picked up yesterday it looks good. Clean, mil spec green sealant, says made in Brazil on the bottom of the boxes. M80 Ball. Came in 50 rnd boxes. I havn't shot it yet but at the price my local shop has it for, I may go back and get more to stock up. Some is better than none I guess.

I have a buddy who has shot over 2000 rounds of it through hia SCAR17 and FAL. He says it is GTG and that he is buying more...

I shot 200 rds through my 716 with no issues. It is not match accurate, but it works just fine. I was not too dirty either.

Magtech has a good rep for quality and reliability. Their version of M193 does not appear to be crimped, but I don't know about their M80.
I've gone through quite a bit of their pistol ammo and it has all been first rate. If I had the cash in my hand, I'd buy a bunch of it. |
