THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
So, Im running a RRA 16" Midlength w/ Wylde chamber. Ive got around 5000rds through this rifle including British Radway Green, Fed M855 from several lots, Fed AE, tons of Silver Bear, MK318 Mod0, PPU 69gr, and have NEVER seen this come out of my rifle...

I shot probably 40rds of the PMC X-Tac LPD 62gr with '12 headstamp before I got this, with a FTF right after.... accuracy was pretty good, but I dont honestly know if I want to continue running this stuff

Ive still got 455rds if anyone is offering a good price ...

You might want to contact PMC with the lot number and do not shoot anymore of it. Clear overpressure.
That's not right.

Is that the only case in that condition?

Wow. Did the ammo lay out in the sun before you shot it?
Its not the guy that walks in with a gun and says he is going to start shooting that you have to worry about.
Its the guy that just walks in and just starts shooting.

Yeah, looks like your bolt and extractor may have suffered a little stress there. Was the FTF due to that primer getting into the trigger group?

A case like that would definitley warrant phone calls, emails to the distributor you bought it from. I think it might be hard to return ammo to S. Korea.. lol. Pretty sure they'd be interested in examing your remaining ammo though. And offer replacement / refund.

Man, it's good the primer blew.. that case head is nnnn far from being blown. That really would've ruined your day.

I wish she could love in America where I live

That is definitely over-pressure. Contact PMC.

Ah, so PMC is using PSD brass or PSD loaded ammunition?

Correct, mostly.

PSD is the abbreviation for the factory that manufactures the ammunition that is marketed and sold under the PMC brand.

I did not think that was the case. I thought it was manufactured for sale.

Do you have a source for that?

Doing non-scientific penetration tests the x-tac doesn't penetrate as many hard drives as fed/lc green tips will

My x-tac's always have very flat primers though, but no issues with over pressure and I've been reloading the cases

Also post the Lot # since a lot of us have some x-tac

Lot # please.

I've got about 2k of 855 in the last couple months. It would be great to know the lot # of your batch. The lot # is found on the box. Thanks.
