I've shot some ultramax reloads, they shot surprisingly well. It was their 55 gr fmj offering.

I had alot of the Ultramax and still have about 400 rounds, I got it at Dicks Sporting Goods. It shot great, however it was the dirtiest powder I've ever shot.
The bolt and barrel would be black with residue more than any other brand I have ever shot. If you are putting it back for SHTF be sure to have lots of cleaning supplies also, If you are useing it for plinking and practice, its great ammo. |

Ultramax 50gr Nosler ballistic tips were some of the best shooting ammo that i tried. Right at 1" At 100 yds and the cheap stuff to boot,.......I'm a happy man.

I am just wondering if I should shoot it to get the brass for reloading or pull it apart for the brass with a bullet puller.
