Traded some AR-15 parts I didn't need for 250rds of 9mm ball. Good thing, too, since the oldest daughter and her fiancee are coming to visit this weekend, and she has a lead trigger-finger. Girl shot 600rds through my Beretta 92 in a little over an hour a few summers ago, so more ammo is better when she's around!!

Damn the price of ammo is about out of sight for my pocketbook, but I was able to find 500 rds of Wolf 223 at AIM for a reasonable price.

You know you may have a problem when you come home from the Gun Show with 200 rounds AAC 300 Blackout, and you don't have a gun for it yet.

That's not a problem at all. Very normal, in fact.

I had about 3k rounds of .308/7.62 stocked up before I owned a weapon to shoot it in.

Ammo is the most expensive part of the hobby, so when I see a good deal, I stock up, regardless of caliber. I can pick something up to shoot it out of easily.

Wiser words have rarely been spoken. If you see a deal, you better damn sure pounce on it.

Good month for ammo so far. 1000 rds from GTD, $304 to the door, LC M193. Three unopened boxes of Carcano 7.35 with stripper clips. 450 rds of .30 Carbine in clips and bandoleers, all WRA 54 and 55. A case (840 rds) of FN 52 and 53 .303 Brit in clips and bandoleers. A few bandoleers of 30-06 AP, 58 LC in enbloc's. I told the ball and chain this puts me over 10k rds and got a very strange look.

After I heard a few excerpts of our fearless leader's great speech made the other day on how he plans to make our country "better for all of us" I thought it would be appropriate to pick up another 1000 rnds of .223 PMC 55gr to get ready for the eventual of our freedoms. Just saying...

I picked up another 80 rounds of supersonic 300 BLK. I'm hanging out at 1,100 rounds of various 300 BLK. It sure is more difficult to get in quantities than steel-cased 5.56.
