Thanks Side.

Glad to be aboard.
New to the AR world.
Bought a Colt LE6920FDE late last month.
Cleaned and oiled it out of the box, and have just been to the range once so far to break it in a little (150 rounds of Wolf Gold and 150 rounds of AE XM193).
No issues with either other than one FTF from one Wolf Gold. But my daughter was shooting so I'm not sure what might have caused it. Casing had a little dent.
Anyway, wanted to get several types of ammo (IMI, Wolf Gold, AE XM193 and Federal Varmint tipped to start) - to see what we [me/Colt] like.

I worked up a new (to me) load for my .300 AAC blackouts using free pulled bullets from some FMJBT 30.06 rounds.
Lots of fun to shoot & accurate as hell, the steel gongs at the range hate me now. LOL
I also found that reworked LC .223 brass works better in my .300 blk guns than the real .300 blk cases. Don't know why yet, but they do work better.

I had a great week.
Wife told me to stock up.
Said spend 2k !
So I bought 5k rounds of 55gr fmj reman blasting ammo from Freedom munitions.
Then turned around and bought 5 cases of steel shot for waterfowl season.
Doin good !

Now just to buy some ammo cans and find some 7 pocket bandoliers.

FALARAK it was a bone stock Savage 10 FCP-K 24" with factory muzzle brake. My Rock River 20" shot sub half with Eagle Eye.

1,000 rounds AE 50 gr Varmint Tipped $319 delivered from PSA

I shot 150 rounds of this at the range today and it was 3-4 moa with iron sights at 100 yds out of a new Colt 6920.

Also shot 150 rounds of Wolf Gold - which was good but not quite as accurate.

Also shot 90 rounds or PRVI 55 g. FMJ - about the same as the Wolf Gold.

loaded 300 rounds of 115 gr. 9mm. cleaned a pile of brass and sorted it by caliber. fired 200 rnds. +- of old .22 ammo. loaded test rounds for 7-30 waters. and found test rounds and I forgot what the test is/was!
