My local Walmarts have been good to me over the past two weeks and I'm not hanging out there all day or early AM. Just casual afternoon Hot Wheels shopping with my son.
Picked up ten (a few trips with the wife helping) 100 round boxes of CCI and two of the 325 count Remington Golden (they had a lot of the Remington 325 Golden but I prefer the CCI). Picked up thirty 30 round boxes of the ZQ1 SS109 today. It's hard to beat this for $00.36 per round after taxes. I picked up a few boxes of the Perfecta 9mm today as well to try out (they had about 50 boxes). It's still $9.84 per 50 rounds around here but much better than $26 for $100 rounds of Winchester. Is it about the same as the Winchester white box, is it any dirtier? |

I went to Knob Creek show & picked up more 440 rd spam cans of 7.62x54r, powder & reloading dies for the same. I have one gun that likes the heavy gr rounds & I can't find surplus heavys anywhere, so I'll start reloading. Then I finished up tumbling, decapping & resizing about 3500 cases of .223 when my Lee turret press broke.
Bought new replacement parts & got it going again. |

Wally world run over the weekend yielded 100 rounds of brass cased .45 and 60 rounds (3 box limit) of brass cased 7.62x51. Pretty light, but I plan on grabbing a few more boxes of 7.62x51 over the course of this week.

First time buying from Ozark Ordinance. 250 for about $140 including shipping. Also my first stab at reman. Bought the ST Compressor in .300 BLK and thought I wouldn't want to shoot it much just for fun. Wrong. I can't stop shooting it. A buck a pop is tough on the budget though so here we go with about 50 cents a pop, which is much more affordable. About 3 weeks to get it which is not a problem. I'm posting pics so the experts here who haven't gotten a close look can eyeball the ammo. I see a few minor dings but it looks about the same uniformity as the Remington subsonic I bought. Going to the range this weekend and will shoot a hundred or so to see how it performs. Edit: Shot 90, 3 were FTE, all very dirty but otherwise fine. Can't beat the price if you go to the range.
