ADI Australian Outback with the 69 grain Sierra MatchKing HPBT very good deal on really good ammo (for myself and I've heard from several others) is on sale for $189.95 per case of 200 rounds and you get an additional case free for every case purchased. Flat rate shipping of $12.95. This ammo has been out of stock for around a year, so I guess Global Ordnance must have purchased all remaining stock in the US. 50 cents per round for really consistent and accurate ammo with a very good bullet is a good deal, and they claim once it's gone, it's gone for good. They also have 55 grain as well as some .308 and other calibers, but they're not as great of a deal.

Local supply of .300 varmint type ammo is limited to subsonic only....

Has any dealt with either AmmoFast or Powder Valley? They both have Hornady Black for $150 shipped for 200 rounds. Didn't know if one company was better to work with than the other.

Thx

Target Sports has MK319 Mod0 and MK318 MOD1 in stock. Not cheap but it is in stock. The MK318 mod1 is listed as mod0, but they state it is non-lead and the picture is of a nickle plated projectile.

Was this the 2 pack of 1k rd cases for ~$350? It appears to be out of stock now.

Given the prices on all their other Winchester 5.56 ammunition, I'm guessing it was a pricing error.

Yes, it was clearly labeled as 2k rounds for $341. It even stated in the description that it was $.17 per round.

If went out of stock quickly. Guess we will see what happens.

ETA: I have a tracking #
Will the 12k rounds as advertised show up or will I receive 6k rounds?

Brownells has Norma Tac 223 for $150/500. Coupon code PKA takes 10% off and gives free shipping.

You can get an additional 2.5% off going through active junky. Makes it under $270/k delivered.

Nothing against Brownells, but Target Sports USA also has it for $269.50/1000 with free shipping and no codes or junky, etc.  Pick the vendor of choice

When did you last buy the Norma?

On Target Sports' FAQs for the Norma USA .223 ammo, people are saying they're getting a different UPC than previous orders, and TS says the new lots are made at Lake City and don't have crimped primers.

Which is odd because it should have crimped primers then, right? Perhaps they're mistaken about that part (the guys answering questions on TS don't seem to do much more than repeat ad copy/product descriptions anyway). Someone on the CartridgeCollectors forum posted this picture recently:

Also, MidSouth Shooters has a similar picture on their product page for this ammo, where they also mention it is "Now Made in America!"

Federal has .03 off per round of popular 556 and 223 offerings.

Have to purchase a minimum of 300 rounds.

Rebate requires the purchase from 08/01/19-09/30/19.

This gets XM193 down to around .23-.24 cpr.

Rebate Form and Terms/Conditions

***edited to add there is a separate rebate on XM855 at .05 cents back per round***

I don't key off these Federal rebates anymore; need ammo/buy ammo. Unless they've recently changed processing company, in my view it's a nutroll to go through. Others' experiences may differ. Most recent experience at this end after taking all the required photos of invoicing & views of the box itself was followed by:
- weeks to advise they GOT your submission, with all the photos you had to take & attach.
- weeks to advise they ACCEPT your submission*
- weeks to advise they are sending you a pre-paid piece of plastic loaded with the amount of your rebate that you must activate and that not everyone takes.
- more to actually receive the aforementioned plastic.
And this is doing it all electronically.

* if anything wrong or missing they will advise (after a period of time) you can correct & re-submit, but ONLY if the rebate is still in progress. Their processing model is FUBAR for the 21st Century.
YMMV; depends on what your time is worth I suppose.

Exactly.

The return, with the BS you have to go through, isn't worth the squeeze.

If the ammo is otherwise a good price pre-rebate and comparable to other options then you might as well get it and treat the rebate as a bonus.

I noticed PSA raised prices/got rid of free shipping after the rebate started.  Anyone know where the best price is?

Caught that too.  PSA has backed off their normal Free Shipping, by quite a lot of late.  Curious why on that.

$15 off the old price per 1000 if I buy 2 and $10 off the old price per 1000 if I buy 1 and still have to do the rebate deal. I just used a rebate card that I almost forgot about with a couple days left. I would rather see a "sharpen the pencil price" right up front with nothing hidden.
