ADI Australian Outback with the 69 grain Sierra MatchKing HPBT very good deal on really good ammo (for myself and I've heard from several others) is on sale for $189.95 per case of 200 rounds and you get an additional case free for every case purchased. Flat rate shipping of $12.95. This ammo has been out of stock for around a year, so I guess Global Ordnance must have purchased all remaining stock in the US. 50 cents per round for really consistent and accurate ammo with a very good bullet is a good deal, and they claim once it's gone, it's gone for good. They also have 55 grain as well as some .308 and other calibers, but they're not as great of a deal.

Federal has .03 off per round of popular 556 and 223 offerings.
Have to purchase a minimum of 300 rounds. Rebate requires the purchase from 08/01/19-09/30/19. This gets XM193 down to around .23-.24 cpr. Rebate Form and Terms/Conditions ***edited to add there is a separate rebate on XM855 at .05 cents back per round*** |

If the ammo is otherwise a good price pre-rebate and comparable to other options then you might as well get it and treat the rebate as a bonus.
I noticed PSA raised prices/got rid of free shipping after the rebate started. Anyone know where the best price is? |

$15 off the old price per 1000 if I buy 2 and $10 off the old price per 1000 if I buy 1 and still have to do the rebate deal. I just used a rebate card that I almost forgot about with a couple days left. I would rather see a "sharpen the pencil price" right up front with nothing hidden.

I believe during the last rebate they improved their deals towards the end.

Is $200 a thousand for WPA 5.56 ammo delivered a good price?
I guess I won't ask if it is good but maybe is it good enough for drills? Is ammunitionstore.com GTG? |

Not sure if this is the correct forum to use. But it is a pricing question. I've decided to switch off of .308 and start buying, stocking and shooting .300BO. Multiple things factored into the decision, but long story short I've got crates of 308.
Ideally I'd like to trade the stuff and get 300, but I don't really know how to come up with a good ratio. I don't know if it's a 1:1 trade or I should get more 300 for the 308 or if the 300 is actually worth more. For reference the 308 I'm talking about is Australian and South African military surplus most of it in either battle packs or stripper clips and bandoliers. |
