This was a bit of a saga. The bolt assy was originally used as a conversion in a 7.5" pistol and was well broken in.
Immediately there was a problem with the barrel. With most all ammunition, groups at 25 yards hovered at around 3-4" inches. A lot of experimentation with barrel nuts, optics, and several different types of ammo netted no difference. CMMG shipped a new collar which made little if any difference. Eventually they replaced the barrel.
The results. L to R: Original barrel, replacement barrel, and S&W 15-22 rifle for comparison.

Representative groups range from 2.5," to 1.5," to 3/4," respectively.
The final results with the replacement barrel show it not to be a tack driver...but acceptable.
The little gun has spawned a few configurations.
There is a micro pistol with an alloy barrel extender.

...and finally the forend was drilled and tapped for a sling stud and a bipod equipped mini-sniper was born.
