Hey guys

I have a Walther HK416 22 Pistol that I just ordered.  I went and ordered a 9 inch handguard for it from Strike; as the barrel specs said it was 9 inches.  I took off the fake suppressor as it does not fit inside the handguard and looks goofy; however now I have a problem.  The barrel is sitting about 2.5 inches inside the handguard.  I've ordered a thread adapter and a muzzle device that will supposedly add 2.5 inches; however I still don't think this is long enough.  Do I need to cut the handguard (which I prefer not to do) or is there a muzzle device I can purchase that is super long and will push it outside the handguard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
