So, after getting some UZI magazines and got them converted for my 9mm AR i started to look at the Swedish Carl Gustaf 9mm speed loaders.

I have modified one speed loader and it now works great with one of my converted UZI magazines. Good thing in Sweden is that those 9mm ammunition clips can be found for free in almost every shooting range since people doesn't have any use for them after they're stripped of ammo.

I have seen both speed loaders and clips for sale in the US as well. (or at least in the past)

I have not tried this for a metal form magazine yet, as soon as I get one I'll try.

If you're tired of loading your magazines by hand one round at a time, give this a try if you can find a speed loader. I have also seen this type of modification for other double stack 9mm magazines such as the one for Mp5.

Modified to the left. You can see material taken out in the front and on the sides. I have also put some plastic in the rear to push the magazine forward some for proper alignment.

If we could get the ammo on strippers cheap, I'd be all over that.

Till then, lula works pretty well.

I haven't been able to get an Uplula to work with a double feed magazine.  Unless you are thinking of a different one than this. UpLULA

You're right, It sure would be nice to have something to fill the strippers easy. However, it does take very little effort to load the stripper clips, and you can still do that while you're home (I guess you could do that with the magazines also if you have plenty to go around). Once on the range it sure is faster than the lula. This is also a pretty neat way to store the ammo.

Looks like a great option for those in Sweden.

For US, I think the SMG Lula is a far cheaper and more efficient/cost effective option.  At $6/stripper clip, that's almost half the cost of a Metalform mag when they are on sale...

Wow! Awesome little loader!!

I did get an UZI loader awhile back, but still need to cut a notch in the back to work with the ASC Mags. But it is cool, you can drop about 5-7 rounds in and then push down with your thumb.

But that B&T Loader takes the cake!

Awesome! I probably should have explained in the video, but I'm not really a big fan of the toggle style loaders MagLULA has. They work okay, but would work better if you had three hands.

Generally if I can rest the mag base on my thigh or hip, you can work the toggle left hand. Use right hand to drop rounds in. Goes pretty quick, and no third hand needed!

It's probably easier with the Colt and Uzi mags. My only experience is with the AR mags. It's not bad, but I just find it cumbersome compared to the StripLULA.
