Hey all,

I have one of the Original S&W M&P 15-22's that did not come with the threaded barrel/flash hider.

I finally got around to sending the Barrel off to have it threaded.   I just received it back and now need to install my A2 flash hider.

Do I need Peel Washers and a Crush Washer?  Or is it one or the other?     If it is one or the other, which is better?

Thanks!

Choose one.  Crush washer is less hassle to get timed and peel washers require less effort.

I believe the M&P 15-22 uses an A1 flash hider, which I would simply thread on until tight and forget.

My factory threaded one has a crush washer.
