Just curious. Some of the pictures I have seen seem like much of the rear of the case is unsupported. Since the feed ramp is essentially a cone cut into the end of the barrel, and since the bolt  face is flat, not cone shaped, there is a good bit of unsupported case there. (Depending on barrel mfg.)

Educate me please.

Ha, I have a Sterling and am also horrified by the amount of unsupported case, no issues so far.

Thanks for the replies. I got one of the Kaw valley buffers and heavy springs so it should have enough inertia to stay closed long enough.
