I just learned the hard way that New Frontier 9mm uppers do not function with colt mags. Wish I had found this thread a couple of months ago. So now I have to decide whether to pay my gunsmith to mill out the chamber, or replace it with something else. How costly and risky would it be to have it modified by a gunsmith? The Mad-Machinist on here can likely fix you up. Is it the feed lips on the lower that are too wide? If so, file the outsides down a little. |

I have on NFA upper.....on a prototype Glock lower...... I will see if it is milled to the configuration needed for a colt pattern mag. If not I'll order one and see what is involved to correct......In the process for making fixtures to hold an upper by the rail anyway....so it shouldn't be a big deal.
