I'm looking through the regular 9mm pic thread and don't see a lot of 16" barreled ARs.  I'm currently building a 16" to make a riffle as I am done with my pistol build. Im not sure what direction to take and wondered if you guys have pictures of your 16" barreled 9mm's to show off.

Thanks for any pics!

The reason you aren't seeing a lot of 16 inch 9mm AR15's. Is because they crack with subsonic ammo.
Not fun when you take the first shot with your new suppressor

Unfortunately there are not a lot of profile options when it comes 9mm ARs.
I got what I think was a YHM factory over run from Sarco. It was in the white.
And not the standard M4 profile. I then had it cut down to 14.5ish and pined/welded.
I don't know why there are not more 14.5 9mm barrels out there.
My next barrel will be made to order by Dead Shot Barrels. Should be around $150.00.
CMMG Complete lower, Vltor MUR-1S upper, CMMG Bolt, Vltor Charging Handle, YHM Flash Hider, Troy TRX 11" fore end.

Here's my take on a 16" 9MM carbine.  This one was built with the following parts:
-DDLES Glock small frame lower.  Quarter Circle 10 now produces an improved version.  I's seriously take a look at the NFA/Joe Bob lower - cheaper and has some nice features not found on either the DDLES or QC10 you might like
-Slash 9Q-T heavy buffer and Wolff XP spring
-ALG QMS trigger
-KNS anti-rotating pins
-BCM Gunfighter stock
-Magpul MOE+ grip
-Joe Bob/NFA LRBHO upper
-CCMG Glock cut bolt
-YHM 16" barrel
-Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS carbine hand guard
-Vortex flash hider - recently replaced with an A2 birdcage.  A little lighter and shorter, muzzle blast and flash really isn't a problem with a 9MM AR
-Magpul Buis
-Burris Fastfire III on ADM QD cowitness mount

Building your own can start to add up dollar wise depending on the parts you buy.  You might want to take a look at the Angstadt Arms carbine if money is not a factor.  Hope this give you some ideas and good luck with your build.

Pete

Built for 2 gun competition.

Gun has been flawless through thousands of rounds in competition, even won a few times.

2G-ACM

DDLES lower and bolt.
Rise Armament trigger now (replaced the ALG in the picture) with KNS pins.
Ace rifle stock.
Vltor upper without forward assist.
Raptor ambi charging handle.
Standard rifle buffer with Wolff XP spring and homemade delrin spacer
AP Customs carbon fiber handguard.
YHM fluted barrel.

I didn't keep it for long tbh.

It was fun until I realized how pointless a full sized PCC was for me. Now an AR pistol would of been a better build. This was just a mock up with a fake supressor. I ended up just using a thread protector/a2 flash hider.

mine was a budget build specifically for USPSA PCC Division...still deciding on the Vortex SPARC or the Spitfire... load will probably be Bayou 135 coated lead at about 1150fps... NFA Glock lower and bolt, Aero Precision upper... 7.5oz rifle buffer and .308 spring

Cool ! I love budget builds. And especially when they are built to be run. Not just sit in the safe.

16" Lone Wolf G9 with glock mags

I removed the flash hider and added a KAK flash can. Thinking about getting a 16'' hand guard to go over the KAK flash can slightly.
