OK I know this is not a rimfire or pistol Q, but here goes I want to swap out my current 5.56 barrel for a light weight .75 gas block barrel , who makes the lightest one??? I lightened up the rest of the gun, ie: carbon fiber HG and other parts but the barrel is a medium contour fluted I can't remember who made it maybe DSA, it's been on there for years. Or maybe a 14" and pin & weld it.

I turned down a M4 bbl to .625. the weight difference wasn't worth the time. It was a learning experience for getting cleaner cuts and overall finished product.
