so I had a 'leftover' lightweight Anderson upper and a stripped lower. I also had a CMMG stainless conversion kit and about a dozen .22 mags. What else was I supposed to do except get the rest of it?!

I called Tim with Taccom3g last week to ask about the 4" ultra light weight barrels...got it ordered, and it's on its' way. I have an almost complete LPK from extra pins and springs.

So I'm shopping for a pistol buffer tube, grip and figuring out what FF handguard to go with that will let me screw the suppressor on/off, but cover all but an inch or so from the end...

I have a can of KG GunKote in FDE, so I'm thinking all over tan furniture, rail, etc...getting ideas form the .22 pic thread...

I would get this adaptor from Boonie Packer Better-Mag S&W Adaptor and use S&W 15-22 mags.  The S&W mags and adaptor have made my Cmmg upper very reliable.

I've actually had 100% reliability with all of my Black Dog mags. And I have 40 of them, so...

The reason I use the SW MP22 mags and adapter is more than just reliability,  Though they are 100% reliable.

The SW are easy to load, Very good quality, and you get last shot hold open to boot with the adapter. Blackdogs are not hold open capable as far as I know.. Last shot hold open is very important to me.

Blackdogs are great mags, but the SWs are much better when coupled with the adapter.

cool-

I've acquired a Guntec USA extended buffer tube and a Shockwave Blade for the tail end...and a single point sling-mount end plate. I hope to get the hard parts painted in Gunkote FDE over the weekend.

Started building it!

painted the upper/lower yesterday with Gunkote in FDE. It matches Magpul FDE pretty well. The UTG pro rail is a shade darker, and the Shockwave Blade is a shade lighter.
I need to paint the buffer tube at some point. I got everything put together minus a castle nut, which I thought I had on hand somewhere

UTG rail assembly went smooth- I really like it.

Is there a 'gas deflector' like the 9mmm deflectors that will attach in a way besides the dust cover pin? -since there is no dust cover...something to cover that gap behind the carrier-

Nice job, how long it take for your stamp to come back?

No stamp needed; it's a pistol.
