This is my first pistol cal build.  I'm doing 9mm first, because I already have a 9mm suppressor.  Here's where I'm at so far.  Waiting on my Form 1, then it goes to Trident Arms for the custom barrel and bolt.  The 5.5"  barrel will bell out at the end so it threads directly to my suppressor without using the mount system.  I really like that design.   I'll do a large frame Glock lower next in .45, as I'm waiting on my 45 suppressor to clear.

That's going to look great when finished.  I love my DDLES Glock SBR!

Thanks.  Those DDLES lowers are what got my interest going in this project.  I've acquired about 25 glock 9mm mags over the years, so I liked the idea of not having to go with the Colts.

I'm interested in what kind of bolt/buffer combo you come up with for that.

+1.......interesting, due to the blowback and extra heavy 9mm buffer that I THOUGHT was needed.

I've seen the ARC stock setup for this due to the fact it doesn't require a proprietary carrier (you can use a standard 9mm carrier with the weight removed).  The one in this thread doesn't appear to be the ARC, I'm curious to see how it's setup.

I believe that is where the trouble would come in...."With the weight removed".

I hope there is a way to make it work, love the stock.

It looks like MVB ARC has different weight buffers and you could always put in your own weights.

It's the other setups I'm curious about. From what I understand you use their supplied carrier with a buffer permanently attached...it's all one piece and you just supply your own bolt.  I don't see how the included carrier would work with 9mm.  It looks like you'd have to make/modify an existing 9mm bcg and attach a compatible buffer?

What bolt and buffer do you plan on running?

Does Trident make a bolt or modify an existing 9mm bolt?

Need some specs on your plan - this looks awesome.
