Don't know if there is any advantages. I just thought it would look cool.

It just follows the lines better when you have a matched set. From my understanding is just a cosmetic upgrade option.
I don't like vltor uppers.. so I got the non-vltor version.... |

Where did you get that lower? I have been looking for pistol lower that uses glock mags, but can't seem to find one.

OP pm me your email address. I just got my vltor upper in this weekend for my NON vltor DDLES lower, I have a couple pictures on my phone I can email you. Looks great to me, around the buffer tube area is only thing I can really notice that doesn't "flow" very well.
