I am building an 22 LR AR15.
I will use CMMG bolt assembly with a dedicated 22 LR Barrel.
I intend to use the Taccom Pressure plug.
I had a Ciener/Kuhl set up years ago and no pressure block which I feel ran poorly with the ammo I had.
Is the Pressue block useful?
Thanks

I have seen the pressure plug cure some issues.
Basically, it keeps the action from moving back and forth if it's a loose fit.
Certainly won't hurt anything.

I would recommend going a step further and getting the Taccom Reliability Kit.
It will replace the firing pin with a hardened, properly cut pin
Replace the weak recoil spring
Replace the extractor with an Extreme extractor providing better contact on the rim and extraction
and the pressure plug.

Very useful if the .22LR bolt fits a little loose inside your upper receiver.

One more thing it provides...
It forces the chamber adapted kits to seal much better.

Two tapers...
the one in the chamber neck, and the one in adapter neck
Jammed together to form a tight seal, provide WAY better extraction pressure.

My 22 upper gave me issues due to the bolt moving slightly rearward, I cured it by putting a buffer and spring back in the lower. I would say get the block to avoid any issues.

I appreciate the input.
makes good sense.
Years ado I had a custom Kuehl set up with a modified Ciener and had functional issues.
Now that I think about it, it could have been the assembly as it wasn't "tied" into the barrel - just slid into it.
