Absolutely.

^that was a JOKE.

Please report back after your numerous impending surgeries.

You will have a BIG problem if you try to use a 5.56mm flash hider with a 9mm barrel. You can drill it out if you are looking to save some money over a 9mm flashhider.
I'll save my thoughts on the people who can spend any amount of dollars on a rifle but can't devote 20 minutes to getting their body in shape for another thread. -skinnysarge79

You're gonna want to ream out a 5.56 muzzle device to AT LEAST 3/8 (.375") to use it with 9x19.

Yes,, providing your 9mm barrel is sporting the 556 barrel thread of 1/2x28,, and you bore the hole in the 556 A2 birdcage to freely pass a .355 bullet...

As stated above, no. You need to find the thread pitch of your 9mm barrel, my RRA 9mm is 1/2x36 which is different from the standard AR 5.56 thread pitch. RRA makes the standard A2 bird cage for this size and Yankee Hill machine offers both their Phantom flash and Phantom comp in this size. I think any device with this thread pitch should work, although I just removed mine and put a thread protector on the end. I've not seen any need for any kind of flash suppressor on a 9mm with a 16" barrel.
