^that was a JOKE. Please report back after your numerous impending surgeries. You will have a BIG problem if you try to use a 5.56mm flash hider with a 9mm barrel. You can drill it out if you are looking to save some money over a 9mm flashhider. |

You're gonna want to ream out a 5.56 muzzle device to AT LEAST 3/8 (.375") to use it with 9x19.

As stated above, no. You need to find the thread pitch of your 9mm barrel, my RRA 9mm is 1/2x36 which is different from the standard AR 5.56 thread pitch. RRA makes the standard A2 bird cage for this size and Yankee Hill machine offers both their Phantom flash and Phantom comp in this size. I think any device with this thread pitch should work, although I just removed mine and put a thread protector on the end. I've not seen any need for any kind of flash suppressor on a 9mm with a 16" barrel.
