Goes between the buffer and the 22 bolt to push the bolt tighter against the barrel?

The original CRS stock is still the nicest looking stock.

Your pusher is alot more involved, thats for sure, but its the only way you can go with that particular stock......the plug is simple and besides, you don't see it. :)

Why is it needed? Is this a common problem with some kits? I run both a ceiner and cmmg...

It keeps everything locked up.

Even if you have your collar or adpator locked into the barrel.....the rail assembly still floats to that collar or adaptor. Putting a plug or a detent spring like reztag did, in the buffer puts a positive forward pressure on the rail assembly and by actually using the buffer spring weight, you get an added bonus of having a 'shock absorber' upon recoil.

Keep in mind that the very top of your lower receiver takes all the recoil right now, the tab that sticks up on the back of the rail assembly is all that is there and it hits your lower....everytime you pull the trigger. Not saying it's a bad thing, but in theroy, it could be.

Is it needed? Yes, No, Maybe.....you get to feel that one out.

It is used with either the rifle or carbine buffer and spring.....you just put it in front of the buffer,

I have some questions for you, Tim;

Are you the one who used to sign off "Tim Nordic?"

If so, why did you leave the business?

Is your goal to establish a gun building company of your own, and have you filed paperwork yet?

Will your rimfire offering be configured around the Ruger 10-22 bolt design like the current DPMS and Nordic versions?

In any event, I wish you the best of luck.

Yes.....I was NordicTim or was it TimNordic (too old, can't remember)

As for the rest.....send me an IM, I'll be more than happy to tell you more.....the forum is not the right place for it.

However, there are lots of exciting things happening.
