Does any other mfg make a 9mm AR upper receiver without the gas tube hole? Thanks.

Hole is just cosmetic when using 9mm, I took a blown out gas tube and cut it short so it act as barrel nut stop like the 223/556 along with the std upper I am using,, forward assist and shell deflector is decoration too.

One has nothing...a flat sided RRA upper that I took the gas deflector off of just because. The second one uses a standard 5.56 AR upper. Doesn't seem to make a difference, they both pump it out to the same spot.

The one thing to watch for if you want to use it for 5.56 is the cam pin clearance cut. Nodak Spud 9mm uppers don't have that and won't accept a 5.56 BCG.
