thanks...I thought I saw in this thread someone did a .357 upper.

regardless, I'm interested in a 9mm upper but don't know where to begin really as there seem to be so many options and things to think about.

Any ballpark on pricing? I would love to ditch my current 9mm upper for one of these.

Wow. Too bad I won't be able to run my upper full auto. I will be happy to be able to SBR it, officially saving money for this.

Do you have any idea of what barrel lengths you will be offering?...for those of us wanting to get Form 1's in the mail to start the long wait.

If I bought a 16" 9mm di upper, could I later (when I move to a sbr friendly state) have you chop the barrel to 10.5" and open the port hole so it cycles?

I need to test one but the 7.5" setup looks as short as i can go & up to 16"
Cutting down a 16' would not be an issue.

Hmmm... Waiting to see what would need to be done to my dedicated 9mm DDLES lower (Colt mags, not Glock) to make this work. It's already a registered SBR, so my options are limited as to who can work on it.

Need to lower the feed ramp/mags. Ramp should be removeable. I am an SOT just in case.

What velocities have you chrono'd with your .45 acp DI ar's? I assume they are 10.5" barrel as well. What weight projectiles?

I know I want one, just cant figure out which caliber, trying to figure out which is more versatile.

Mr. Williams,

Do we know if your upper will work with the DDLES GLock lower? I think plenty of folks (myself included) would be interested in this combo.

Thank You.

I have a DDLES GLock lower here for a 40S&W I am building. At first I would say no because the 2 botom bolt lugs would not pass through the mag. 2 minutes on the mill & now I say absolutely. In fact I will try to get some video this weekend

Outstanding news... Thank You Sir.

Edited to add,

The DDLES Glock Lowers are all the same, SO in "Theory" I could possibly get other Pistol caliber uppers from you and just swap them on the lower. IE a 9mm, 40 and or .357 Sig?
My Opinion here, A 9mm/40 upper would be great for range/Home defense. A .357 Sig would make a pretty good brush carbine....

I got to run 350+ rounds through my 16" this weekend. After 350 rounds the gun was still going strong. I can't get over how fun this gun is to shoot. Full auto mag dumps at 25yards on a 8" plate are easy with how smooth the upper runs.
