Gunbroker user ID 'joespawnshop' usually has a Metalform 32 round magazines in 1 mag, 3 mag or 5 mag packages (here is a 3 mag listing 3 Metalform mags).

His description is FUBAR - calls them 30 round Metal Form magazines - they are marked (and hold) 32 rounds. I have bought from him, more than once. They are the real deal.

This guy has almost 11,000 feedback on Gunbroker. His website is: Metalform mags at Joes

He sells a boatload of mags for a lot of different guns.

When i put my order in for a 7075 lower last week, Jon said they just received them from anodizer.
Anyone got delivery confirmation yet? Mine was for a standard colt lower not a glock, didn't think it'd take as long as its taking.

Thanks cabbynate;

Looks like big foot is real! They are shipping, and they run!

Now I go back to waiting for my order to come up in the stack. I bet the stack is deep.

Anyone have a 40cal DDLES gun together yet? Supposing a fella could use their lower, bolt and barrel and the rest are all "standard" parts?

Sounds very exciting to be able to have one that would use all the standard Glock mags and shoot the 40.

Mind if I ask when you ordered?

Or, how many months you had to wait?

Thanks

ordered it 5/23 on their site, no issues at all, they answered all my question by email and shipped within 12 hours of my order. on the UPS site, it arrives today at my FFL. I couldn't be happier with their customer service, it seems what ever early issues were around are not present now or least for me they weren't and this was a spur of the moment purchase, I wasn't aware of the early issues till yesterday.

In addition to the above post, I too recently ordered a DDLES Glock lower. Ordered 5/24, shipped out next day.

I had been checking the website for weeks checking to see when they went into production. I finally checked it out a few days prior and saw they had 2 standard, non-vltor lowers in stock; then I saw that they had one (I guess the poster above me took it!) I sat onit for a few days before I made the purchase. I finally realized that if I sold off the 2 mags blocks and modified UZI mags I currently had for my 9mm AR, I would have enough $$ to justify the purchase; plus I have a ton of Glock mags compared to UZI mags.

Lower arrives at my FFL on Monday; 9mm bolt is currently getting machined at Lone Wolf; Cant wait to put it all together and put some rounds down range with the boomstick!

I ran my DDLES lower at the michigan three gun event last month. I was shooting Pistol Caliber Carbine, and had a blast doing it. It runs 100% and has a nice positive magazine lock up mechanism. 147gr subsonics ran flawlessly, and the feed ramp, such that it is, is a nice addition to the design. The last round bolt hold open is mag spring dependant. Some of my mags would lock it open, some wouldn't.

I am going to "muddify" the spring on the bolt catch and see if it works a little better, but so far, it's been 100% headache free.

A spring is provided with the lower to use for the bolt catch spring. Also I think the instructions say that you should upgrade the mag spring to a Wold Extra Power if the mag does not lock back the bolt.

I know they are supposed to come with the shorter replacement spring, but mine didn't. I didn't get any instructions either. I may put wolf springs in the mags, when they need replacing, but I'll mod what I got first.

Anyone got pics of the DDLES rail that comes with the uppers? I'm just curious....

Is the DDLES HGS 530 rail a 5.3 inch rail?

Yep,
I have a 635 rail and it is 6.35 inch from the end of the upper to the end of the rail.

Thanks...

What barrel length did you go with?
Can you please post a pic of your set up so I can see how the rail looks?

Sorely tempted to purchase one of these as a pistol and then eventually SBR it....

I just got my Colt spec lower. While it looks good, Colt mags are very hard to insert, they dont drop fee and require some force to remove. Now, modified UZI mags fit lose but should not have any problems. I know I can mill the mag well a bit, but what is the point of modifing brand new reciever.
