My humble submission:

Dedicated .22LR setup with 1:12 twist 6.5" barrel with no gas port.  Bushmaster extended CAR flashhider to extend it out of the handguard and hold position for a Gemtech Outback Suppressor.

The sights and EOTech are just hanging out for now.  They will eventually go on a 12.5" build for a 5.56 gun, but this is a good enough place for them in the mean time.

Great American Inventions!

Not done but it's getting there.  I'm going to have the barrel cut down shorter so it'll keep bulkpacks subsonic.  I still need to add BUIS and a sling as well.  Everything but the light mount is from Spikes.  The can is a YHM Mite.

Sorry had to through mt carry piece in the picture.  I love my Wilson CQB.

RDIAS makes it a machine gun.  Machine guns get to be any length they want without needing an additional stamp.  In his state, he can have machine guns but not SBRs.

Spikes upper/lower.  Gemtech outback II can.  The modified ceiner bolt seems to like Federal bulk pack.  Been testing it out this past week.  At the indoor range I was able to get a nice quarter size group (27 rds) from 15-25 yards.  Very few FTF or FTE.  After every 3 mags worth of shooting I would relube the bolt and scrape the feedlip clean with a nylon brush.

7" larue FF handguard.  6" barrel but only about 5" of it extend out of upper receiver.  The rest of the length is the outback silencer.  I really like how the silencer barely sticks out of the handguard.  It keeps everything compact looking.

Family gathering,  my 2 dedicated 22 LR uppers with 3 of my friends V-22 uppers.

The CZ V-22's are on 2 Colt A2 lowers and 1 Doublestar with Car stock.  The other 2 are a KKF 16" free floater on RRA NM with M-4 stock and DPMS dedicated AP4 on RRA NM with M-4 stock.  One V-22 wears a BSA 6X24 scope the other 2 V-22's are wearing F/M 2.5X10 tactical scopes.  The KKF has a 2.5X10 Tasco and the DPMS has a E O Tech 511 with MI A2 buis.

I cheated I put 2 of my BDM full body Cieners mags in the V-22's for the picture so we could see what they will look like with the new smoke BDM's are available for the V-22's.

This is the first iteration of the gun....

Today was the shake-down run.

Picked up a SOG dedicated 22lr upper from the SAR show earlier this month.

It uses a modified ciner kit, and a modified 10/22 barrel with the proper twist.

Shot great today, F/A was 98% -- only exception was a few light primer strikes, which will be resolved with springs.

Your hammer spring looks factory, so should be ok. Are you sure your light strikes are not just bad ammo? It's a very low failure rate to be a spring issue.

Yup... I'm sure.

Same ammo functions 100% in FA in a 22lr glock conversion I have for my g19.

Inspecting the rounds after the failures, there was just barely a mark on the failed rounds.

New springs are on the way, so I'll know soon.
