View Quote That PDW style stock looks great on there. I've been thinking about sticking one on mine for some time now. |

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

The MVB ARC stock allows you to use any standard BCG with their system. Originally you had to punch out the carrier weight in the 9mm bolts and insert the MVB buffer and just run it with a spacer and without any additional weight (which worked great, might I add). But recently MVB put out a 9mm buffer that allows you to keep the carrier weight in place and does not require a spacer. So as of this post, the MVB ARC is the only PDW stock I know of that works with a 9mm rig out of the box. |

Man, that looks great! Glad the new buffer makes it even better.
I have several questions. How heavy is that total stock including spring(s) and buffer? I'm assuming that the 9mm buffer is more conventional than there 5.56/.223 setup. Is it just just one spring, or is it still a compound 2 spring set up? Using the traditional buffer retainer? I see conflicting info. Their web site says 23 ounces (heavy) but other reviews say 40 ounces (whoa!!). Appreciate you posting these pics. |

It still uses the two spring setup, but the buffer itself is pretty much a 100% conventional buffer albeit shorter. With this setup, the push-button retainer is pretty much unnecessary, as that traditional retainer would function as normal. This also makes me think that their entire design for the BCG-buffer and the push-button retainer are kind of pointless, since they obviously found a way to use this short buffer tube with a more traditional buffer design. |

Thanks for the insights. Interesting. Seems like they could have gone to a single spring and use the traditional retainer. Maybe take some cost out. Anyway, it still looks really good and the fact that you can use the 9mm BCG without modifications is a real plus over all the other PDW stocks. You built a real looker there!

I still need a little rig to h old my mags, but so far im loving t he balance of it. It ended up being a little chunky, but its all over the middle of the mag well area, and feels nice. Other then the trigger, i need a light for it, at minimum a tlr3 might work, and at some point i would like to try out a visible laser off sight shots. Might be fun. View Quote Very nice!! Mine was identical except for black instead of tan. Btw the Midwest Ind. Gen II SS Panels(and Handstop Panel) will fit your Super Slim rail, just have to use the UTG provided screws. I put a TLR-1 on mine but am thinking about one of the Inforce models. |

May have to redo mine with a short rail for the 5" barrel |

I read that QC10 machines their lowers to match the MUR upper , cant seem to find any pics of the other side . Have a lower on the way just curious if the MUR upper is worth the extra money . And I don't think anyone would have noticed it was a bathtub if you hadn't mentioned it ! May have to redo mine with a short rail for the 5" barrel Hahah thanks for the heads up man! I just went out found it on instagram and facebook, cool! And DBs10, if you go back a couple pages I've got a pic of it on a hardwood floor on the opposite side. The lines do match up with the VLTOR MUR but not so much that it would look out of place with a standard AR upper. |

Thanks found it . My lower should be here tomorrow , I'll figure out what I'm going to do with it then . I really like your setup though .

We’ve been using Power Pistol and it eats everything from 3.8 to 4.4 grains of powder like a champion. The gun has no problem suppressed and unsuppressed, and is very quiet with the Trident 9 attached. The only problem I have to report is every five magazines or so the bolt will hold open with 1 round left in the magazine (QC10 has problems with the hold-open feature). Accuracy is incredible at 25 and 50 yards. I have yet to shoot it at anything at 100, as the gun was intended for pistol distances. I saved some money buying “bargain” parts for this rifle, with the intention of getting it running and tweaking it if needed. I’m glad I did, because the fit/finish/function of all the parts was perfect, and in some cases I saved $100 per part. Everything I bought was either on sale, had free shipping, or had a Military discount. I have a friend/gun-smith that cut the bolt and cut/threaded my barrel for $100 total, so that helped keep costs down as well. After it was all said and done I spent $1,430 on the gun, including the ATF stamp and all my shipping costs. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j49/AboveTBest/9mm%20SBR%201_zpsiz52iwmj.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j49/AboveTBest/9mm%20SBR%202_zpsodxoulqf.jpg View Quote Nice to see another SBR 9mm built on the m4E1 upper. love mine. |
