Man, if you haven't, you should try a K angle grip. Really changed your geometry for the better with these tight little guns.

A bit of an updated pic of my two AR9s. The short one on the left now has an OAL of 19.5" thanks to Slash, LWRCi and a careful cut with a hacksaw. The one on the right is a work in progress. Going for a sort of MP5k and MP5A3 thing.

Thanks! I bought the LWRCi UCIW buffer tube, Slash's heavy 9mm buffer and spring and then cut the SBA3 down about an inch.
At the time I did this, CMMG came out with pretty much the same thing. 🙄

That's my luck. When I finally bought a SB15 brace a few years ago, about a week later, the ATF said we couldn't shoulder them.

I just took it for it's first trip to the range today. Very happy. No malfunctions, more accurate than I am at 25 yards with a red dot.
It's a PSA upper, a Ghost lower using an Endomag.

My Heinz 57 PCC in 9mm.  It's not anything special, really, but I enjoy shooting it.  And that is all that matters. :)

I started out with a Pro-Mag magazine adapter, which worked quite well after I adjusted the ejector with some pliers.  Then I found the Endomag and never looked back.

Always wanted one. Took advantage of efile times. Tried it first w Larue MLok 7" but too tight (that's what she said) for the can. SLR 4.25" Is perfect. Spikes 9mm upper also. MBT-1S.

The carry handle is there because of the HK style front sight that I'm playing with. I 3D printed my own and I've been playing with different designs and such try to incorporate various features. This particular one has interchangeable posts and I've been trying different colors. Right now I have a red post, but I think black just works the best.

As for the lights, they're Surefire M300 and M600. I don't know the particular models or how many lumens, but they work well.

Troy HK style fixed front sight, with a Blitzkrieg post and the UTG Slim rear sight. I'm actually impressed with the UTG rear. I think I'm going to get the UTG Pro carry handle though.

My 9mm pistol. My ex is holding my SBR lower for ransom so I slapped a brace on a now spare lower (was formerly a dedicated 22lr pistol).

Does Strike/Viper sell a 9mm-specific buffer for that?
No, but from their website:

Note: Compatible with Angstad Arms 9mm, PSA 9mm.  The Viper PDW will likely work with any 9mm AR that does NOT use a proprietary buffer assembly.

Thanks! It's an old school Tasco ProPoint that I got on a closeout sale. I tried putting my C-More on it, but it just didn't look right.

If your referring to my pic that's an Arisaka Defense finger stop, not a vertical grip. No stamp needed.

Sidewinder came in last week.  The colt mag 5.5" will be the primary host.  I haven't used it on the 8.5" due to it needing a spacer (threads too long).

Last photos I have of it all together. The TROS 3 lug barrel under the KAC URX rail is awesome. But after buying an MP5 this just never gets taken to the range as much as it should.

Upper and lower are in the EE if anyone is interested in anything.

New AR-9 pistol build....

LOWER RECEIVER
-Foxtrot Mike billet lower
-ALG Defense ACT fire control group w/ Foxtrot Mike disconnector spring
-Battle Arms Development ambi 50 degree safety
-Battle Arms Development titanium receiver pins
-VLTOR SASE-2E receiver end plate (large H&K type single-point sling attachment point)
-Foxtrot Mike 6.4 ounce 9mm buffer
-DPMS 308 carbine spring
-Magpul MOE pistol grip
-SB Tactical SBA3 pistol brace
-Wise Men Company SBA3 Splitfix
-Magpul gen2 MS3 sling
-Magpul GL9 Glock pattern 27-round PMAG's

UPPER RECEIVER
-Stern Defense complete upper receiver (8.5" barrel, 3.25" blast can, 10" M-LOK rail)

-Naroh Arms M-LOK hand stop
-Inforce WML weapon light
-Raptor ambi charging handle
-Holosun HS503GU micro red dot sight

I've put 500 rounds downrange so far without a single malfunction. Resting on sandbags, with my aging eyes and an unmagnified optic, I'm able to consistently keep a full magazine of 27 rounds well inside 4" at 100 yards. Color me happy!
