Pretty sure normal MP5 mags...NFA makes a lower that takes MP5 mags.

Yes it’s an Omega 9k. Rail is a cheap UTG 5.5”. Barrel is a Macon Armory cut down to roughly 6.75” to accommodate the handguard.

I’m going to change it up a bit and go with a shorter handguard... probably the new 3.25” CMT Tactical. Obviously I’ll chop the barrel down to match.

I mainly shoot this one suppressed. I called lone wolf last week and asked about sending the upper in to cut and thread the barrel down from 9.5" to 5.5" so I could tuck half of the can into the rail.  Researching ballistics a bit more before I decide whether to proceed since I can't undo it once done. I've been very happy with it though and have about 350 flawless rounds through it, mostly with 31 and 33 round mags. My friends love it too. Lol

sorry for the large pic. I posted it from my phone and can't resize it.

9mm Ballistics
You aren't going to lose too much by going to a 5" barrel. It will perform about the same as out of any service handgun. Most 9mm bullets are designed for around 4" barrels.

That's a nice stick you have there. What suppressor do you plan to use?

Thanks for the info.  I use a tirant 45 in FDE for this one but it feels a little too long with it on there now.

My new PCC build...had a spare SBR'd lower sitting in the safe.

Aero upper

Aero 7" Atlas S-One handguard
Kaw Valley Precision Bolt and Linear Comp

Runs like a champ.  It's my new home defense go-to.

Plus, it fits in racquet bag!

It's the MEAN EndoMag conversion kit, and it's awesome.

I didn't have to SBR a dedicated pistol-mag lower; already had an SBR'd standard lower sitting in my safe.
It uses the same mag pouches as any AR-15 magazine.
You don't have to get used to another lower configuration; your muscle memory is already in place.
No taking a conversion block in/out.
If I want to use another caliber upper (like my short 22lr upper), I don't have to change a thing...just pull the pins an swap the upper.

I have a 5.5 ar9 and a 7.5 scorpion. I plan on eventually making the scorpion the same length. Short is just fine with 9mm.

Condor on Ebay.  They are decent quality.  They had the flaps, but I took them off.  The pouches attach via MOLLE to a plate carrier I have in my bag with the PDW for commuting into work.  The flaps just Velcro in.  So I just detached them and took the plastic hooks off.

That's a T91 Carry Handle. They are lower profile than std AR handle and the front sight post needs to be shorter.

What upper receiver vise block did you use to assemble your upper? All I have is the standard clam shell and I'm thinking it will not work with the profile of that upper. I have a Spikes on order right now. Thanks.

There are a ton of threads, but first you pick your magazine pattern (Glock, Colt, MP5, or standard with new Endomag) and then the manufacturer you like.
