Well since my last pictures didn't work, trying it again. Angstadt Arms carbine, Gibbz side charge upper,  SLR 13" rail and titanium Comp, Trigger Tech adjustable flat trigger, ACE rifle length stock. And yeah, I left the back door open.

I was eyeballing those Dolos kits for this exact employment. Ultimately I just left it at the folding cheek rest.

How do you like it?

With no front sight to index, would one need the dolos on a dedicated 9mm?

I originally used the folder and dolos for a 300 blk pistol and it was fun, but decided to swap it over to a 9mm build. It handles quite nicely, but haven't shot it yet.

Looks good, having the barrel a hair longer and installing one of these would be sick.

Would fix your sight radius.

edit: nevermind I was under the impression the barrel would stay attached to the handguard.

If you have a gastube, the barrel stays, but it isn't "fixed". The gastube goes through the lug (there's a slot for it so the lug can rotate), but there's nothing really to hold the barrel into the assembly when it's loose. For the 300blk, I was thinking of doing a cookie cutter to sort of "brace" the other end. When I switched it to the 9mm, I figured it'd be easier to simply remove the barrel.

So as long as you left enough room for the handguard to rotate (maybe 1/4") between the end of the rail and that sight, it'd work fine actually. I'm not buying another barrel anytime soon though. Amusingly, you can use Yankee Hill fore ends, but I tightened the one that came with it too much to get it off (though I haven;'t really cranked down, wasn't that important). A shorter rail would also give the room.

And yeah, I already have one of those sights on my SBR:

It's working great. Great quality and seems to be solid so far. I only have about 150 rounds through it so far, but plan on shooting twice that tomorrow. I haven't had a chance to shoot it since I installed the echo trigger - and my guess is I'll be eating up a lot of rounds.

First build. Ran like a champ, basic kit minus lower from PSA, but added my own upgrades.
second build is going to be a good bit smaller and im hoping to spare no expense! Waiting for more cash so i did a little backfill. Wanted just the red & white HK type of look by the selector, but thought....red white and blue! Bam instant way to get some flag color representation going. Its a build in progress. Will post when shes done

NFA LRBHO
NFA Glock
NFA Modular BCG (Update to RRA Firing Pin and Spring)
KVP PCC Buffer Tube/Spring/Buffer kit
Faxon 16" barrel
Guntec 15" M-Lok handguard
BCM Mod3 Grip
MFT Minimalist Stock
ALG Defence ACT Trigger
Magpul BAD (Dremeled channel for LRBHO wire)
Strike Industries SI Link Curfed Handstop
CCOP scope mount (Amazon)
Bushnell AR 1-4x Throw Down PCL
Magpul PMAG 21 GL9 mags

Built it to do amateur 3-gun. My club only allows pistol caliber at the action range.  Works well with my Glock 17.  Very happy with the LRBHO and BAD combo for super fast mag swaps.  So far so good!

Why is your rear sight at the front of the reciever? There is no way that is usable like that.

Haha can you take a picture of you using those sights, I am extremely curious.

This is about what I'm picturing.

And because I finally have enough posts for my images to show up, posting this one again. Call it V1.0 as I have some centurion HK diopter sights and a 4" rail to put on it. Will decide between that setup or the Kak can tucked under the Geissele rail.

That's about right. I'm 6' tall, but my legs are like dwarf legs. ALMOST a 29" inseam. So my torso and arms are stupid long..... Makes my radius a bit awkward. Usually have to move iron sights forward a bit.

I actually have a 300 blk pistol with the rear sight at the split point. I was using it to make sure the handguard was lined up right before screwing it down and just didn't bother moving it. :)

I shot it just fine, since I wasn't putting it to my cheek anyway.

That may be really close to being flush, it may only stick out 0.25" from under the hand guard.

Mine pictured above is a 7" rail with a 5.5" barrel and the Kak flash can only sticks out 0.75". Should work it will just be really close.

Turned out great!, only downside is the seekins mount screw marred some finish on my upper. Not really a big deal but damn that was a pricey upper lol...

Finally got my lower in after waiting about 8 months for it.
Good thing is I got a custom serial number for it so I could submit my Form 1 for it back in November.
I have all parts for it and will start to assemble after I get the lower engraved later this week.

I'm using a Kaw Valley 7.5 oz buffer and spring with my Spinta bolt and it has been 100% reliable for 600+ rounds of the cheapest 9mm I can find.

This turned out really good. Not much is new with the exception of the grip/light.
The Fab Defense PTK Took some modding though.

It actually feels great, the Cobra Grip was kinda crap. Like it was actually sharp on the corners.

I ordered a knock off ptk for 10 bucks to get a general idea of the mod before I decided to chop down a 30-40 dollar part.
