Right now given prices that they are, the Colt is the better buy. I've been seeing them around the $800 mark nib.  On the used market they can be had for $700 or so.   Lots of the election panic buyers are starting to dump their  over inflated rifles and taking what they can get.   And IMO, there is no "better" ,  all the manufactures that are being talked about in this post, colt,fn,bcm,dd,spikes, will all perform.   The only way to find the "better" rifle would be to shoot off with about 10,000 rds for each rifle checking function, accuracy, durability and what not... And even that will very from rifle to rifle.
