Is there a break-in procedure for a new Seekins SP15 AR. I just bought one and am new to AR's. I've heard that some have a specific procedure for break-in and that it is different for different Models.
Thanks

Break-in is usually only required for specific barrels - unlined/unchromed or untreated barrels, specifically.

And even then, it's not super important, since unless you bought a precision unlined barrel, nothing you do will improve or worsen anything over just shooting it for a basic commodity barrel.

If you bought a $3000 unlined Lothar Walther custom precision barrel, you should probably consult them, and do what they say, though.

Breakin procedure = buy a case of ammo, attend an Appleseed weekend, shoot & repeat.

After the first shooting session use a good copper scrubber and your good to go.

Pretty much this.  Wet down all the moving parts in good oil and shoot the crap out of it.  Clean and repeat.
