Stag's 20 inch is a heavy barrel. Any reason you need a complete gun though? Rock River Arms also make one although I know people are not happy with them right now over some questionable support in their home state.
Colt, BCM, FN, windham weaponry, aero, psa all are gi profile. Edit: fulton armory makes a hbar version as well. |

Colt also had their match target HBAR series that might be worth a look.

I wanted to somewhat replicate the M16A2 that I shot when I was in the ARMY without breaking the bank. I like Rock River AR's so I ended up going with a Rock River Standard A4 and opted for an A2 upper receiver and chrome lined barrel. The HBAR Barrel was a non issue for me. If anything I figured that it would help hold its accuracy when it gets hot. The only ammo that I have shot through the rifle is Lake City XM193. I am amazed with the accuracy that I am getting with the chrome lined barrel. I am not one little bit disappointed in this rifle.

RRA has a nice dcm profile barrel.
i wouldnt worry to much about profile, md doesn't define what a hbar is, there is no industry standard and its not enforced at any level in md. last ar upper i got was a psa freedom, i give zero fucks about the silly hbar rule. |
