I am looking for a 20" A2/A4 barrel without M4 feedramps. It looks like both the windham and PSA barrels have them. Both the uppers I want to build on are made for rifle feed ramps. Is anyone still making these?

Why no ramps? To keep it correct? Just curious.

Correctness and I have two uppers, one is a Colt A2 the other a FN A4. Both are correct for the rifles I want to build but they are not M4 cut.

Gotcha. I finally gave up and used a bbl with a ramped extension.

Good luck.

Eta: Saw a new FN no ramp on the EE awhile back. Last I saw.

Check Gunpartscorp?

How did that work out for you, any problems feeding?

Zero issues. I have 2 A2 builds. FN and Colt uppers, FN  is rifle and Colt is ramped. Both bbls have M4 extensions and gtg. Not correct in terms of an accurate clone, but I like them.

I don't know the dimensions but maybe buy the Larue Stealth without ramps and send to Adco to turn down to govt profile?

Expensive, yes.  But you would have a great barrel that looks the part.

Look for FNMI 20" gov't profile barrels.  They will have rifle feed ramps.  They can be found with F marked FSB's or with non F marked FSB's and will be either FNMI marked or CAGE code marked with 3S679.

If the barrel is a Windham or any other than a Colt or FN it should not matter.  It only matters if your receiver has the cuts and your barrel does not.  If the barrel has the cuts and receiver doesn't you should not have any problems.  I did have a Colt 6520 with factory M4 cuts on an FN barrel that did not have the cuts, (the way you do not want it).  I put 200 rounds through it before changing to a FN upper without ramps just because it was supposed to have problems with ramps and no ramps.  Now my upper is all FN so I am happy.  Not the BCG or charge handle but I don't care, it shoots good.

Mine is also a 20" cage code 3S679 barrel.

I ran a m4 upper on a rifle barrel. Never had any issues in semi.

I have a 20" cage code 3S679 barrel without m4 feed ramps on a flat top m4 upper with m4 feed ramps, using magpul mags, and it runs with no problems.

If you can find Colt 20 barrel,  you should be good to go.

The good about have a rifle upper aka a non m4 feed ramp. You can use either a rifle extension or m4 feed ramp barrel without? any problems.
