Hello gentlemen,
I was directed to this forum by my uncle for advice ,tips,suggestions about how to proceed in building some hardware that I inherited
from my father-in-law.
I got quite a few uppers & some other hardware that looks like I can turn into A1\A2 rifles or possibly an SBR
My uncle is fairly knowledgeable, but he works in N.D & is gone for literally months & now really accessible for help.
Anyway,I will be here posting questions & asking for advice on how proceed.
Details on upper,lowers,barrels will be forthcoming.
Going to Google as much as possible , but will be bothering some of you for info.

what do I need to look for if I try to put newer M4 style barrels on older uppers?
It can't be as easy as just slapping them together.
Any tutorial's or youtubes I should look at?

Once again, welcome to the forum.  Lots of knowledgeable members who are very helpful here.  Perhaps, if you post a picture of what you have, I'm pretty sure we could help you narrow down what you want to build

Not all that difficult. Some pics and descriptions would help tho.

I have 2 builds with new bbls that have M4 feedramps in the barrel extension.
One upper has ramps/one doesn't.Zero issues.

Just remember:
Upper no ramps/bbl ramps=ok
upper ramps/bbl ramps=ok
upper ramps/bbl no ramps=bad idea

Just be sure you have a stamp in hand before you slap a short bbl on a stocked lower.
